The intarsys firm was founded in July, 1996 by Dr. Bernd Wild, Karl Kagermeier and Michael Traut in Karlsruhe, Germany.

At the beginning, intarsys concentrated on consulting banks, in particular savings banks. Our customers benefit from the results of different IT-projects we managed. The business unit „document technologies“ results from this early projects. The requirements of our customers concerning professional print-outs (for instance sales contracts) provided the basis for our software development. Right from the start we preferred the PDF-document format.

From that moment intarsys converted to a software developer. Today many companies and banks use our software and benefit from our PDF-know-how.

With our extensive PDF know-how, we also develop special Instruments for the PDF-platform CABAReT® Stage like solutions for electronic signature or e-billing.

To cut a long story short: our mission is to replace paper-based processes by integrated automated processes based on electronic forms.
