PDF/A for libraries – easy to use, fast and comfortable Download test version

As part of the Open Access the German National Library Archives has decided that the standard PDF/A-1 will be the preferred format for the submission of online publications ( http://www.d-nb.de/netzpub/ablief/np_dateiformate.htm).

In close collaboration with the University of Karlsruhe we have developed a new software based on our successful product, PDF / A Live!: PDF / A Live! books. It enables publishers and libraries to convert electronic books from PDF to PDF/A with high quality and speed.

Functioning

With PDF / A Live! you produce an analysis of the presented PDF-format-book simply by pressing a button. Based on this easily unterstanding analysis, you can talk with the author about how he can improve the quality of its electronic book.

You can easily send the author a list of possible improvements together with instructions for its implementation from the software via e-mail.  Just as easily you perform the final conversion which produces a report about the made changes.
