PDF Forms drive business
The aim of the solution "eFormFlow" is to establish intelligent electronic forms as a key input device for starting and controlling workflow-oriented business processes in order give mobile user groups a better support.
eFormFlow consists of several software components. A key tool is the modeling of business processes. The business process model consists of various models which are used for the subsequent workflow:
- Process Model
- Information Object Model
- Organization model with roles and privileges
- Process status model
For the execution phase PDF documents are created with a PDF form editor. The business model information will be arranged on the PDF form by dragging and dropping according to the required rights. The form developer further specifies which data should be exported into a backend system.
The finished PDF form is initialized and loaded into the runtime environment. It can can now be used in the business.
Once a business workflow starts, the PDF form ist transferred form one clerk to the next according to the assigned role in the model. After
Each step, the agent can directly select the next person from the roles and rights model. The workflow can be stopped at any place or returned to a former agent.
The forwarding is done via e-mail with the PDF form attached. Each step is recorded in a state database and may be visualized at any time.
